Light up, light up

im a bit peeved at one of my favourite bands for allowing Leona Lewis to sing their song.
she butchered it.

Leona killing a great song: (since it's embedding is disabled)

and to make matters worse when you type in "Run" into youtube.com search bar
Leona Lewis' version appears first.

Scrabble/.

i totally forgot how fun scrabble is.
i definitely need to play this game more often.
this is one board game i can play by myself.

admire the distance (and quotes from movies watched today.)

yesterday i was gifted with a new pair of glasses by the vision place, that i [my mother] had to pay for.

but i am amazed yet by how much i couldn't see before.
it feels strange.
im seeing the world from a new perspective.
IT IS GREAT
i cant get over this!
i can see things that are...400 feet away!

oh,
this is a great day.

Annik: Do you like the Buzzcocks?
Bernard: Their a good laugh.
Hooky: Yeah, their alright. Apart from the cocks bit.

Hooky: If i had a car and i felt love for the car and somebody kicked my car, i'd be as upset as if they'd kicked my girlfriend.

Arthur: I'm not a poet. I'm a trapeze artist.

warm up your own chestnuts.

i love the fill in the blank gap ads.
i am unable to locate a copy of the one im talking about.

in which case i will now change subjects.
generate your own happiness.
i have recently found love in love poem generators that are not unlike mad libs.

here is one of the lovely creations.

My Love

Your skin glows like the clementine,
blossoms glorious as the pink daisy in the purest hope of spring.

My heart follows your voice like crashing symbols
and leaps like a wallaby at the whisper of your name.

The evening floats in on a great ostrich wing.
I am comforted by your sleeve that I carry into the
twilight of "Stonewall" Jacksonbeams and hold next to my big toe.

I am filled with hope that I may dry your tears of HCl.
As my forehead falls from my other sleeve,
it reminds me of your Wal-mart.

In the quiet,
I listen for the last toilet flushing of the day.

My heated belly button leaps to my sock.
I wait in the moonlight for your secret car
so that we may frolic as one,
belly button to belly button,
in search of the magnificent Verde
and mystical revolving door of love.

Sarah showed me this.

First of all i would like to "sincerely" apologize to elsa for not updating my blog.
im not sure she actually cares that much though.
(by the way i read all the blogs of yours that i missed and yes, MA IS asian)

Now...
Speaking of Sarah, last year we both had 6th period off.
we both have 6th off this year too.
But Sarah leaves a lot this year so we haven't been able to witness as many wonderful things as we did together last year.
here are a couple of those eye witness accounts:

1:07 pm
January 22, 2008
We witness unrequited love.

boy: whats your name?
girl: Lauren...
boy: OK, i've seen you around school - i wanted to meet you
girl: well...(awkward pause) here i am!
boy: do you have a boyfriend?
girl: yeah...
boy: damn, i guess it wasn't meant to be.
girl: ... (inhale through teeth) sorry!

they go their separate ways

We witness confrontation between principal and boy with binder hanging from pants.

Principal: Hey mister, you need to wear shoes!
Boy: define shoes...
Principal: IT'S STATE LAW!!!
Boy: no, but define shoes...
Principal: I'm not going there with you! (begins to walk away)
Boy: but define shoes...well fine if you don't talk to me, i'm not gonna listen.
Principal: Fine, come with me...(walks toward office)

THE END
